Area: juvenile penal system
Description: Provision of an accompanying salary of 600€/per month over a period of 4 months through a cash card, provided by Banca Intesa, registered to the boys who are coming out of the IPM Beccaria. It’s necessary to have an individualised pathway for job search, education and school attendance.
Beneficiaries: the boys, usually over 18 but even, just for specific situations, minors, who are coming out from prison, indicated by the social services for minors and from the educators of the IPM “Beccaria”.

Description: an active project at the community centre Barrio’s in the Barona quarter in Milan, that offers training and working internship for young people, including the once who had trouble with the law.
Beneficiaries: young people without a specific instruction and professional training.

Description: area provided for the development of three workshop:
– training labs for young people: urban cultivation, reuse technicians and manufacturing, etc.;
– a cycle workshop that will offer a service to the quarter, opening up at the same time new job opportunities.
– a new lab of I Dolci del Paradiso – Social Cakelab and catering, with an expansion and growth of the current one, which is now in Villa Paradiso.
Beneficiaries: the young people, in order to create new professions, capable to offer services in the Smart City: urban cultivation, reuse technicians and manufacturing etc.; but the quarter is also a beneficiary of the new services.

Description: it’s a service of Comunità Nuova Onlus, founded to develop an aid network for people in state of social vulnerability, who in the last years found themselves to face hard situations of economic, work and familiar crisis. In the Social Secretariat located in Bellini street in Milan are granted provision of:
- Distribution of essential goods (food, clothes, blankets, personal care products);
- Orientation to understand the better way to pay in instalments unsolved costs, to request for temporary apartments with low rent, or for low cost housing;
- Legal advice for the green card of for the family reunification;
- Support for the parenthood.
Beneficiaries: people in state of social vulnerability who in the last years found themselves to face hard situations of economic, work and familiar crisis.

Description: construction of a football field, place for integration and socialisation from where it’s important to start working together with the young people, giving them positive incentives: collaboration, belonging, teamwork, respect one another for achieving a common goal and a personal growth.
Beneficiaries: young prisoners of the IPM Beccaria

Area: international cooperation
Description: the project presented by the association BIR, inspired by the International Convention for Children’s Rights, supports and protects the children’s right to the social assistance in case of abuses, the right to live with their own family and the right to instruction. It works especially on the prevention to the abandonment in the healthcare facilities, through the support to mothers and families at risk of abandonment of infants and minors in maternity and paediatric wards in the Brasov’s hospital.
Beneficiaries:
- Vulnerable children received by a Community in the Valcea district.
- Vulnerable children and their families supported in the Mehedinti district.
- Local operators trained and updated about how to work as a team and about methodology of action.

Description: voluntary experiences and cultural activities about active participation and children’s right, for the diffusion of a culture of solidarity and inclusion.
Beneficiaries: Young people and adults involved in international voluntary work and in summer animation experiences in Romania and Moldova.

Description: the project wants to increase and develop training activities in preparation for the voluntary experience proposed by the association BIR with the aim of helping young people to be aware of their ability and of the self-esteem, important drivers for growth. The issues raised during the training meetings are mostly the relationship, the group and the cooperative work.
Beneficiaries: young people and adults who participate to the training activities provided for the volunteers of the association BIR.

Description: realised by “C. C. T. E. – Zona 5”, for many years it’s one of the few neighbourhood activities that gives a place where people can meet and animate a desolate quarter.
Beneficiaries: children, young people and adults who live in Zona 5 in Milan.
