  1. Data Controller and Data Protection Officer

The data will be primarily processed through computer systems for the following purposes: 

  • Handling your information requests: This includes requests made through the “CONTACT US” form in various sections of the website (such as project sections, support for projects, volunteering, event participation, news, and special events, as well as the press office/journalists’ section). The legal basis for this processing is the fulfillment of your request and the management of any pre-contractual relationship. 
  • Newsletter subscription: If you choose to subscribe to our newsletter via the dedicated “SUBSCRIBE TO OUR NEWSLETTER” form, the legal basis for processing is your explicit consent to receive the newsletter. 
  • Participation in charity auctions and subsequent organizational/administrative management: If you participate in charity auctions, the legal basis for processing is the management of any pre-contractual and/or contractual relationship established after your offer. 

Additionally, with your consent, your data may be processed for sending newsletters. The legal basis for this activity is your consent, which can be expressed by selecting the appropriate checkbox in the “CONTACT US” forms. 

You can revoke your consent at any time, but such revocation does not affect the lawfulness of processing based on the consent provided before the revocation. 

The Data Controller will not collect any “special” data as defined by the regulation, nor will they gather information related to your behavior during website navigation. 


Navigation Data  

The computer systems and software procedures used for the operation of this website acquire certain personal data during their normal operation. The transmission of this data is implicit in the use of Internet communication protocols.

Recipients of the Data 

The processing of data collected through the website is carried out by internal staff, both employees and volunteers of Fondazione Don Gino Rigoldi, who are specifically identified, trained, and authorized for data processing in compliance with current regulations. 

The data resulting from the use of the website may be communicated to subjects designated as data processors, who are responsible for managing the website, as well as to technological and instrumental partners used by the Data Controller to provide the services requested by users. Additionally, access to the data may be granted to individuals as recognized by legal provisions and/or secondary regulations. Personal data provided by users filling out the “contact” form is used solely for the purpose of executing the requested service or performance and is communicated to third parties only when necessary for that purpose. Specifically, personal data provided by users filling out the “volunteers” form is communicated to the “Associazione BIR,” which manages volunteering within the “Gruppo Comunità Nuova”.

Data collected through the website will not be disseminated. Typically, the data will not be transferred outside the European Union. Any transfer of data outside the European Union will only occur to entities that ensure an adequate level of data protection and/or to countries for which competent authorities have issued a decision of adequacy. Personal data is processed using manual and automated tools, in compliance with the provisions of the Regulation. The personal data subject to processing will be stored in a manner that minimizes the risks of destruction or loss, even accidental, of the data itself, unauthorized access, or processing not permitted or not in accordance with the purposes of collection. 


The data will be retained only for the time necessary to achieve the purpose for which it was collected, unless different requirements arise from legal obligations. Subsequently, personal data will be deleted or anonymized.

The Data Controller encourages all parents and guardians to instruct minors on the safe and responsible use of their personal data on the Internet.
