Construction school at Opera Detention Center

Organization: Fondazione Don Gino Rigoldi together with Assimpredil Ance, ESEM-CPT, Intesa Sanpaolo Per Il Sociale, Umana, trade union organizations of Feneal UIL, Filca CISL and Fillea CGIL

Area: Criminal

In cooperation with Assimpredil Ance, Intesa Sanpaolo per il Sociale, Umana, the construction industry unions Feneal UIL, Filca CISL, Fillea CGIL and the ESEM-CPT construction school, we have launched a training course for laborer/murderer.

The goal is to help Opera detainees who meet the legal requirements to leave prison to find stable and lasting employment.

The classes are run inside the Opera for both the theoretical and practical parts. At the end of the course, all those who successfully complete it will be offered employment in one of the companies operating in the construction industry in the provinces of Milan, Lodi and Monza Brianza.

Beneficiaries: inmates of the Opera prison who meet the legal requirements to leave prison for work (Art.21).
