With the “Volunteering camps” together with BIR we offer the boys an international experience of participation that makes them leave their comfort zone andleads them to live in a community context where they organize community and support activities for children, young people and people with disabilities in Eastern Europe. We accompany them during the year in paths of training and commitment on the themes of relationship, care, and teamwork., We believe in them and prepare them to be the young adults of the future.

Entrusted with a responsibility and supported by those who give them confidence, they confront their own limits and those of others and start to grow quickly. Our goal is to support these spaces of listening and protagonism to foster sociability and growth. Through a phase of scouting and research of new partners and destinations, summer and winter camps are activated in different contexts of need, accompanied by moments of training and capacity building for local partners and their groups of volunteers, to design the activities together.

Beneficiaries: BIR volunteers and young people in Italy from 16 years old and up, BIR partners’ volunteers and young people in Romania and Moldova, minors from institutes for minors, day centers, rural villages and juvenile penal institutes as well as the communities where the volunteering activities take place.
